Upper Murray Energy Resilience and Reliability Project Update

Through the installation of locally generated solar, battery storage and back-up generators energy systems fitted to key community assets, the project will directly address the vulnerability and variability of the Upper Murray electricity supply. Key objectives include community energy resilience through emergency events, protection against power outages, supporting carbon emission reduction, increased economic, social benefits and increased community ownership of electricity supply.

The project is funded by the Victorian State Government.

In partnership with Indigo Power, KDEC has been awarded package 1 of this very exciting project and their team will spend several weeks in the Upper Murray region doing what they do best: delivering quality solar and energy storage solutions.
